Andrew and the Polar Bear Club

In January, we visited the Chesapeake Bay.

Andrew and Papa enjoyed throwing sticks to Charlie.

Of course it was freezing, but to Andrew's delight there was a Polar Bear club outing for idiots who wanted to go swimming.

Unfortunately, Andrew was one of those idiots.

Hilarious. That last picture of Andrew crying is priceless.

LOl! Andrew would be a good Alaskan - they have that adventurous nature. But some do verge on crazy, or how do you say it - idiotic? Anyway, what a lovely family outing!

The picture of Andrew crying cracks me up. Also, the pictures of Brigham with Andrew are so genuinely touching - I really enjoy them. I've barely ever talked to Brigham, but just by seeing the pictures, I can tell he's an amazing dad. I'd be jealous about that trait, except that I also have a hubby who is amazing with our kids. Hooray for both of us!

It looks like a fun, but cold outing! I recognize your kind, dear dad in the photo!

Too funny. Did he actually go in?

Poor kid. Those people swimming in the Polar Bear Club must have looked like they were having a lot of fun.

He did not get any further than getting his feet soaking wet. But that was only bc we physically dragged him away from the water. Brigham wrote this post; I selected some photos and asked him to write something for it.
